If a boat or yacht owner must cancel your already purchased booking, they should do so through the SkipperMyBoat platform or they will need to contact us to generate your refund.

You are also welcome to contact us directly to let us know if an owner has communicated to you that they need to cancel your booking. If the owner does cancel through the platform, you will receive an email confirming the cancellation.

When a booking is canceled by the owner, you, the customer will be issued a full refund including any SkipperMyBoat service fees.

We don't like to hear about an owner canceling on a customer, but sometimes it is unavoidable. SkipperMyBoat is not responsible for cancellations by owners but we are more than happy to quickly process a refund as needed.

Please note if neither you or the owner notify us of the cancellation (either by emailing, calling, or by canceling the booking through the platform) SkipperMyBoat will not be aware there's been a cancellation and therefore will not issue any refund.
